Dirigenten Steen Lindholm er et kendt navn på den internationale korscene. Han har dirigeret ved de store korfestivaler Europa Cantat, Nordklang, America Fest og Hong Kong Children's Choir Festival, stået i spidsen for eksempelvis Groot Omroepkoor (det hollandske radiokor), Det Ungarske Radiokor, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunkchor og det vestfalske, nationale ungdomskor og afholdt Master Classes og koncerter over det meste af verden, f.eks. USA, Canada, Sydkorea, Kina og Argentina, - plus samtlige nordiske lande. 
Herhjemme var Steen Lindholm dirigent for Radiokammerkoret i sæsonen 1982-83 og korsyngemester ved Det Kgl. Teater 1985-90. I 40 år har han desuden ledet Koncertforeningens Kor og i perioden 1992-2006 været chefdirigent for Det Danske Drengekor.

Steen Lindholm er endvidere et erfarent jurymedlem ved internationale korfestivaler. Han har medvirket som dommer ved talrige konkurrencer i USA, Latinamerika, Asien og Europa samt samtlige udgaver af World Choir Games / Choir Olympics.

Herhjemme har han været jurypræsident for Randers Internationale Korfestival samt Ungdomskorfestivalen i Kalundborg.
Steen Lindholm har tidligere modtaget Musikanmeldernes Kunstnerpris.

 		 The Danish conductor Steen Lindholm is well known on the international choir stage. He has conducted at the big festivals like Europa Cantat, Nordklang, America Fest and Hong Kong Children's Choir Festival, been engaged f.i. as conductor of Groot Omroepkoor (The Netherland Radiochoir), The Hungarian Radiochoir, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunkchor (Leipzig), The National Youthchoir of Westfalen.
Steen Lindholm has held Master Classes and seminars for choir conductors many places in the world, f.i. USA, Canada, South Korea, China and Argentina - plus all Scandinavian countries including Iceland.
In his native country, Steen Lindholm was conductor of The Danish Radio Chamberchoir during the season 1982-83 and chief of The Royal Opera Chorus 1985-1990. Since 1971, he has been the artistic leader of The Copenhagen Concert Society and in the period 1992-2006 chief conductor of The Danish Boys Choir.
Steen Lindholm is an experienced jury member / jury president at international choir competitions in USA, Latin America, Asia and Europe and Scandinavia. He has also been jury member at all issues of World Choir Games / Choir Olympics until now.
Steen Lindholm has been rewarded with the prize of the Copenhagen Music Critics.
